Mindy Jones
Mindy Jones is a singer, songwriter & producer from Los Angeles, California. Over her expansive career, Mindy has performed alongside countless esteemed artists such as Aloe Blacc, Sean Paul, The Yeah Yeah Yeah's, The Flaming Lips, Duran Duran, Jenny Lewis, Donovan and Lykki Li. As lead singer for music pioneer, Moby, for the past seven years, Mindy has toured across North America, performed on late-night TV shows hosted by Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien and Steven Colbert, and been prominently featured on all of his latest albums and Netflix special, ‘Once In A Lifetime Sessions with Moby’.
Mindy’s career highlights include singing for President Barack Obama and Pope Francis on the steps of the Capitol building in Washington D.C., performing at the Hollywood Bowl with Pete Tong and the Heritage Orchestra, and singing center-stage to a sold-out Walt Disney Concert Hall backed by Moby and LA Philharmonic, lead by world-renown conductor Gustavo Dudamel.
When off stage, Mindy is writing and producing music for TV and Film and session-singing for various commercial work. Her vocals and productions have been featured on numerous movie trailers and TV shows such as Independence Day, Pretty Little Liars, Blindspot, Dance Moms, Scream and Beauty and the Beast, and used in campaign ads for Adidas, Coca-Cola, Honda, Heineken, Target, Ralph Lauren, Samsung, Lexus and countless more.
Mindy has numerous songwriting and production collaborations under her belt, including with David Lynch and Moby on the haunting, ethereal track and coinciding music video, ‘The Big Dream’, and her latest project, indie synth-pop band, ‘ADLT VDEO’, with producer Luke Top of Fool's Gold. Rolling Stone Magazine said, in reference to their collaboration and her vocal performance on Moby’s album ‘Everything Was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt’, “The velvety coo of frequent collaborator Mindy Jones snakes through the record, adding to the lost-in-space feel of ‘The Tired and the Hurt’ and serving as a Greek chorus to Moby’s Regretful, trembling recollections on their woozy ‘The Waste of Suns’.”
